It has been a while since I wrote a blog post of any kind. And this will be the first blog post I have ever written here on Flawless Moments. But I'm gonna dive right into this.
I had a daydream that I am making come true. Each and every person who has hired me for photography all over the Midwest has helped make my daydream come true. And I thank you.
I took a few days to create and design this site to showcase my work, clients, and to share information. It's not perfect, but neither are you or I. In creating this site, I needed to write a bio to tell you who I am and what I am all about. I guess writing about my self and Flawless Moments Photography was the easy part because I also needed to post a photo so you can put a face with the name. I don't usually slow down enough to allow anyone to capture me with the camera. So this morning I got up bright and early and curled up my hair and put some make up on. I set up the tripod and practiced a few poses.
I can't tell you when the last time I did self portraits. I did't think it would be very hard. Well, I was wrong. I have a cheap trigger remote that I bought off of Amazon that doesn't work too well. I'm glad I'm finding out about this before I ever used it in a client session.
I am just like clients, I feel awkward in front of the camera. But I had to just close my eyes and think of everything I tell the client to think about. Relax, breath, go to my happy place in my mind.
I knew that I wanted to have my self portraits reflect me and my personality. I wanted to convey my love for photography and the art. Since I have my watercolor camera tattoo on my arm, I knew it should be visible in my self portraits.
This tattoo is a symbol that I wear my passion for photography on my sleeve. It s a commitment to the art. I could not have asked for a more perfect watercolor camera tattoo when I requested the tattoo artist to create this piece of artwork.
Now that the first post is done, I can move on to the next post. Oh an now you have a face to put with the Flawless Moments name. Don't forget to stop and read my about me page before you leave.
